INTERNATIONAL BUS STATION

Walking
20 minutes: Take Hristo Botev (Христо Ботев) blvd, cross the bridge of Slivnitsa (Сливница) blvd and walk straight ahead to Makedonia Sq. Then follow the map. The entrance door is on the left side of "Post Bank" office which is just next to Caesar casino.

By public transport
10 minutes: First of all buy two tickets - 0,80 leva each (one for you and one for your backpack) from the nearest newspaper kiosk or from the driver. Take tram 6, 9 or 12 direction to Makedonia sqr and immediately punch the two tickets. Get off at the fourth stop and follow the map.

By taxi
Only recommended taxi company is "OK Taxi" (written in dark blue on the motor hood). Reasonable fare is 3 leva (1.5 Euro). You can find them infront of the Central Bus station (Do ploshtad Makedonia, molja = To Makedonia square please).

FROM THE AIRPORT

Walking
Too far & boring, not recommended!

By public transport
30-40 minutes: Take bus No 84 to Sofia University stop and then follow the map.

By taxi
Only recommended taxi company - "OK Taxi" (written in dark blue on the motor hood). Approximate fare is 10 leva (5 Euro). Look for their office on the airport.
